Full List of Women's Cricket World Cup Winners

Watch the Women's Cricket World Cup Winners List in the embedded video | #HerWorldCup + #MultimediaStorytelling + #MAD by Monika Arora
The other side of Cricket's glory.

Right from the first edition of the Women's World Cup in 1973, world's top female cricketers continue to display their best game but the comparative less commercial value has always overshadowed their achievements among the masses, leave alone the fact that some of the cricket's firsts records are achieved by the women's way before the men's did. Would it surprise you that Australian Captain Belinda Clark (vs Denmark in the 1997 Women's World Cup) hit the the first double hundred in ODIs instead of Sachin Tendulkar of India?

However, ever since the event has been undertaken by the ICC, things started to change for the good.

Quality of grounds, professionalism and a better ranking mechanism improved Women's Cricket, though situation differs remarkably good or bad from country-to-country at the ground-level. So much so that few countries have become consistent with their performance while others suffer hiccups, courtesy various reasons while funding, sponsorship and lack of matches being a commonality.

Watch the following video to find the past editions' Women's World Cup Winners, and let me know which team has you inspired. I envy this one team that performs so bloody well, even in the female's event. :-)

(P.S. I have mentioned the list of all previous champions at the end of the video, just in case you only want to read the text and move on with your life.)
